We are what we wear.
If our children had a choice between fun and edgy clothing with
attitude or dreadfully boring, cloyingly sweet, run-of-the-mill
stuff with teddy bears and little ducks, there’d be no contest.
They’d choose the fun ones hands down.
Us too. For now, our children wear what we want them to wear.
And they love it.
Say hello to Cute Kid Wear.
There’s nothing conventional about our approach to infant and
toddler clothing. It’s quite different, a tad off-center and
slightly irreverent. Our bold designs make simple yet eloquent
statements about the children that wear them−as
well as the folks that buy our clothes.
We mix fun with good taste (mostly) to create a line of clothing
that encourages freedom of expression, independence and a
healthy sense of humor. Besides, a lot of the kids who wear what
we create can’t read anyway−and what
they don’t know won’t hurt them.
Cute Kid Wear breaks all the rules of conventional child
rearing: we put words in children’s mouths, call them names and
even label them. But it’s done with love and respect and
carefully wrapped in humor.
Some of our designs are from a child’s point of view; others
tell the world about the child; and others share the feelings,
the hopes and dreams that parents, relatives and friends have
for their little bundle of joy. While some may be a bit
touching, none are cutesy. And never will be. Ever.
Cute Kid Wear is for kids who will proudly wave the flag of
unconventionality−who are learning
to do so from people who have been doing it for years. People
like you.
It’s never too early to start the little ones down the right
path.
So kiss those teddy bears and little duckies good-bye.
Say hello to Cute Kid Wear. We walk the same path. We’re glad
you’re here.
